The pieces in this collection were
created by homeless artists from
Marin County.
The artists were provided art
supplies and studio space by the Marin Interfaith Street
Chaplaincy, a support
ministry, in order to nurture their creative spirit and provide an
artistic
outlet despite circumstances.
This collection from the MISC has
been organized by Sidewalk Sideshow Productions, a group of local
artists who began producing arts and entertainment shows in July
2007, with an emphasis on the art of the street community.
This exhibit consists of 30 small
to medium size pieces: 24 portraits of mixed media,
3 poems, 1 poster & 2 summaries.
The pieces in the exhibit are not for sale, but some of the artists can be
contacted for additional works.
