Cultivates peace, friendship, reconciliation and healing uniting Vietnam veterans and other caring citizens in the building and support of the Vietnam Friendship Village, located about 11 km from Hanoi. Founded by American veteran George Mizo in collaboration with the Veterans Association of Vietnam, the village provides care and services to Vietnamese people, including many children, who suffer from a wide range of illnesses and disabilities attributed to the effects of Agent Orange (dioxin). This international project is supported by groups in the USA, Germany, France, Japan, England, Canada, Australia, and Vietnam.
