A community group working towards a positive and sustainable future in a era of seriously constrained energy options. Our group is a member of the Post Carbon Institute's 'ReLocalization Network', a global campaign to raise awareness about the vital issue of Peak Oil. Our mission is to inititate local efforts to RE-localize, and implement sustainability into every facet of our lives, so that we can gracefully start to Power Down.
We meet every second Wednesday at the American Friends Service Committee (65 Ninth Street in downtown San Francisco, near the CIvic Center BART station) at 7:00 PM.
