A nonprofit organization committed to protecting and enhancing all of San Francisco's city parks --- from the expanse of Golden Gate Park to more than 200 neighborhood parks, playgrounds, recreation centers and community programs. The Trust has proved its dedication to improving San Francisco's urban landscape with such projects as the Neighborhood Park Grants Program, which provides grants to community groups to make improvements in their local parks, giving teachers environmental curriculum to assist them in using parks as classrooms, providing residents with neighborhood advocacy skills, and leading the campaign to restore the Conservatory of Flowers.
