Produces and distributes television documentaries about war and peace, the environment, and social justice.
Founded in 1987 to increase understanding in the United States of political and social issues in Central America, Moving Images later expanded to address the AIDS epidemic, labor rights and childcare, international relations in the post cold-war era, and the implications of new genetic technologies.
Many of these programs have aired on PBS television stations across North America and are widely distributed to schools, libraries, and community organizations.
