A non-profit, grassroots organization of concerned Los Altos and Los Altos Hills residents. Our focus is peace. LAVP was formed in early 2003 as the war on Iraq appeared imminent and has remained active to work for an end to the war.
LAVP stands for, and gives voice to, those who seek peaceful answers to local and global violence. We wish to inform, educate, and persuade others, including public officials, to find peaceful solutions to conflict. This must be accomplished in a positive non-violent manner.
