Formed in the wake of a 1993 assault weapon massacre in San Francisco, LCAV mobilizes the resources of the legal community to reduce gun violence through legislation and education. The Firearms Law Center, a national project of LCAV, assists cities and counties across the country in developing effective local and state firearms regulations that can save lives.
