Designed to provide an access point to VA health care in order to engage homeless veterans in treatment for their problems. The Facility is specifically targeting its services to the veterans who have not had access to VA care - the hardest to reach of the homeless veterans.
Case management, individualized goal setting and behavioral contracts are used to facilitate increased self-sufficiency and self-determination.
The Veterans Housing Facility is unique in allowing residents to remain in the facility 24 hours a day with round the clock supervision.
