The Club’s preamble states, in part, 'We shall participate in organizing San Francisco’s large Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender community to a powerful political voice, which will demand nothing less of candidates than full public support for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender rights. We shall expect politicians to take progressive stands on economic issues, on the rights of women, workers and minorities, on protection of the environment, and on international affairs.
