A nonprofit, educational and cultural organization with headquarters in San Rafael, California. Foreign students, ages 15 to 18, travel to the United States for 5 or 10 months during which time they live with a volunteer host family and attend a local high school. For over 9 years, Face The World's mission has been to provide all participants with a quality experience that will enhance their growth and encourage friendships for a lifetime. FTW offers a ten-month academic year program and a five-month semester program.
