A collective of prominent world citizens --- including many Nobel laureates, politicians and artists --- supporting the Tibetan people in their nonviolent struggle for independence. The committee's role is to inform the public about the unique national, cultural and religious identity of the Tibetan people, to work to preserve that identity and to assure the survival and human rights of the Tibetan people. One project is Tibet Online, a job training and computer resource center for the Tibetan people.
