Created to encourage and facilitate US medical students to work abroad and to learn both lay and medical Spanish. The central philosophy of CFHI is to narrow the gap between existing medical technology and its accessibility to underserved populations. Through this program, participants can learn innovative problem-solving skills which can be applied to rural and urban health care areas in the United States.
