Supports the translation of research evidence generated by University of California faculty into state health policy and public health practice to improve health equity. Cal-IHEA links University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) faculty with state and local policymakers through competitive grants to translate research evidence into health policy, supporting UC faculty consultations to legislative committees and caucuses, and disseminating concise and actionable guidance to support evidence-based policymaking to improve health equity across California.
