Seeks to defend the human rights and culture of the Akha people and promote self determination for the Akha while assisting with nutrition, medical and educational needs. We believe that the security and well-being of Akha communities must take priority over "development" by outside interests.
We are strongly opposed to mission organizations which would remove Akha Children and destroy Akha language, literature, culture and identity. We believe that the defense of land rights and other human rights is at the heart of any just system, and we would oppose those who remain silent while these abuses continue.
